EXHIBITIONS AND VIDEOS

“These exhibition photos, reproduced from their original negatives, are now part of the collective memory of Hong Kong people.”

Fung Chun Kam  – Writer, Master-Insight Media

The Photographic Heritage Foundation exhibitions are often developed from the body’s previous books. Thus, our exhibitions bring the photos we have pioneered to wider audiences in Hong Kong – and elsewhere in Asia.

Our exhibitions connect viewers to the mid-twentieth century period of black-and-white negatives, prints and colour transparencies. Fine reproduction, story panels, original artifacts and documents enrich the exhibitions. The Foundation’s long-standing creative team underpin the design and production.

Exhibitions are bilingual. We welcome school tours. After each exhibition, its framed photos are donated for permanent hanging in local universities.

The Foundation’s sincere thanks go to the sponsors and venues named below.
